SWIFT Education Center
Creative Director
As Creative Director at SWIFT I rebranded the center’s look and feel, updated the website, created training materials, and designed a portal for participants to apply for micro credentials after completing milestones in their coaching process. I facilitated the development, styling and content for all of the centers digital systems and products keeping them responsive and hitting WCAG accessibility needs.

SWIFT Education Center
Rebrand
Overview
SWIFT Directors were ready for a rebrand to freshen up their look to reflect a fun, playful training experience for education professionals.
Problem
I updated the branding for SWIFT Education Center working with center stakeholders to achieve a new brand look and feel. Objective was to update and pep-up the branding with a lively simplistic design style and colors to fit the audience of educators across the country.
Design Process
To begin the redesign working with direction from Amy McCart, Co-Director of the center I took her inspiration and built out a color palatte, new logo, graphical, and typography styles. After reviewing options and gaining feedback landed on the new style guide for the center.
Solution
The end result was reflective of the new energy of the center’s new grant. Bringing in a trendy look and playful unique color palette. Creating a brand that is still running strong.

SWIFT•CRED
Micro Credential Portal
Overview
A grant requirement was to offer micro credential badges as a incentive for SWIFT coaching participants as a way to showcase milestones and provide data point.
Problem
SWIFT•CRED was a new portal concept to solve how the center would manage a backend system to set up digital micro credential badges and allow participants to apply for them. Users then could login and apply for a credential and submit their artifacts. Once a user applied a SWIFT employee would validate and send the badge confirmation email to the user if it passed requirements. The email included the downloadable badge which held metadata inside the image for the participant to use professionally or on social media.
Design Process
Created portal concept designs in Adobe XD and presented to SWIFT Directors. Worked with a third party developer to build out the product. The portal consisted of a backend for SWIFT employees to manage available badges, approve submissions, email confirmations, and track data. The applicant facing pages reflected a colorful and easy flow to apply for a micro credential. The approval process went quickly for the final design concepts with SWIFT Directors. Implementation with the third party developer went quickly. Worked with SWIFT Graphic Designer to develop the badge look and feel.
Solution
This was a fun project to solve how we would create badges. We built out a backend management system, design a fun engaging front end experience for our participants to celebrate their achievements in their education careers. The site and badges are fun and reflect the brand. Learning how to embed metadata & how people could retrieve and validate it from a graphic was interesting.
